Cathedral: erected by the Normans in the XI century, the period to which transept and apses date back, this was reconstructed after the earthquakes in 1169 and 1693. The splendid baroque facade was done by Giovan Battista Vaccarini (1702-1768).

Church of the Carmine: rebuilt in the eighteenth century on the remains of a previous medieval church, it contains traces of its ancient past.

Church of Sant’Agata alla Fornace: built where the burning coals martyrdom of St. Agata took place; destroyed in 1693, it was rebuilt in the eighteenth century.

Collegiata Church: it presentd a wonderful facade from thelate baroque period (1758 by S. Ittar) with six columns detached from the bottom wall.

very well
